Innovation and sustainability are two words Decelera and Schneider Electric – leader in Power Management and in Automation Systems– use frequently. Both companies are devoted to the revolution that entrepreneurs and innovation can bring to this world toward make it better.
For the second year in a row, Decelera and Schneider Electric are joining forces to boost international tech-sustainable startups in the program Decelera Menorca 2019. The agreement details the two companies collaboration for the 5th edition of the deceleration program in the Balearics.
“We are proud to work with one of the few global corporations that understand well how to create talent and innovation and that pursue a greener world as we do”, said Marcos Martín, co-founder and CEO of Decelera.
Schneider Electric has committed to attend to the program in 2019 and sponsor three of the twenty five innovative startups linked to its sector. There is still time to participate as the deadline is March 4th. More than 350 startups have already applied and 95% are aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Objectives; especially the number 9 related to industry, innovation and infrastructure.
Schneider Electric has become a main actor in the entrepreneurial ecosystem thanks to its commitment with to innovation, diversity and sustainability. This partnership is part of the Schneider Electric Venture team mandate to work with startups, employees, early-stage companies, incubators and joint ventures to turn bold ideas into reality.
“More often than not, startups do not have time to take a step back and review their strategy, to see what has been done so far and see which the right direction is” Sylvain Paineau, EMEA Business Incubation Director, said at the in the campus at Beach Club Menorca in 2018.
As one of our Experience Makers, Paineau has confirmed he will attend this year to live the deceleration experience again to promote innovation and work with entrepreneurs to increase efficiency, business growth, sustainability and profitability in the digital economy.
